'Spare the rod and spoil the child'Parents are to be pitied.They are subject to endless humiliation,if they so much as lay a finger on their children.They are categorised as 'child abusers.'It's the same scenario in schools as well.A (well meaning)teacher is frowned upon,if he/she,so much as reprimands a delinquent pupil.Children are at liberty to lodge a report against their 'abusers.'So 'dicipline' takes a back seat seat.These three Muslim women have resorted to 'rationalising' by remarking so.A problem 'nipped in the bud'could not have come to the streets!Further more,radical changes do not occur overnight!Parental rights should be given due consideration perhaps.Food for thought !
